Hi there,

1st of all let me say how much fun we're having with our new TandooriQ, it's the CS1 model and works a treat. I've done legs of lamb, kebabs, great big king prawns, nan breads even just red onions which come out really well by the way, a great veggie option. My friends and family are well impressed, in fact you may be getting an order from my brother in law in Scotland.... And he's a chef

This is my second summer season (YUK) of using this superb tool in my garden. My friends who have come to dine have been amazed at the speed & taste of everything I have cooked in it. I have not used a BBQ since and even people who do not particularly like spicy food have been impressed. Thanks Stash Paddy

making us aware of this little piece of heaven, heck I would have sold one of my kids for this thing.....got 4, don't think i'd
miss one to much.
Will definitely leave a comment and each time i have a party I will be sure to tell em were they can get one from.take care. Aysha

I'm really pleased with my tandooriQ, I can't believe how quickly it arrived from the UK. And now I've done the first priming burn, it's cooking really well. Already had a couple of tandoors on the balcony in the evening. Great!

The first firing was successful but I haven't had an opportunity to cook until this weekend - great expectations! I sealed the floor with fire cement as the clay was away being 'pugged' which appears to be the potters word for remixing dry clay to make it workable. Thankfully my partner is a schoolteacher and does it for free. I watched a recording of Gary Rhodes'
Cooking Across India last evening, the one where he prepared a banquet in a London Indian restaurant. In one scene they showed naans being loaded into a tandoor and the close up showed large cracks in the oven walls. I now am relaxed about cracks - if a restaurant can handle cracks, so can I!

Thanks Stash. The bottom is so obviously different that I figured it had to be something like that. I'll let you know how the first cook-off goes. It will be chicken and crayfish tails.
Cheers, Brian

Just to let you know, I've been using my new Tandooriq this summer and it's fantastic! My wife and daughters thought I was mad to buy it, but now freely admit they were wrong. I use it at every possible opportunity and my daughters boyfriends always make sure they are round to join us for a meal at weekends.
